FIFA World Cup fever has started already through out the world. Being a huge fan of foot ball I started posting about football World Cup on my Instagram story. I started getting questions like "do u watch football". I replied Yes saying who doesn’t like football. But, I got a sarcastic reply saying yeah after Sunil Chhetri every cat and dog started watching football. So I asked that person do u know any other Indian footballers who play for Indian team other than Sunil Chhetri. Now the reply is very interesting Bhaichung Bhutia. Dude really ??? He is a former footballer he quit football long back. I told him about the Indian goalkeeper Gurupreeth Singh Sandhu. So he criticised me saying “google Rani” (google queen). I don’t understand what’s wrong with people these days... they see or hear a little information about the people and they understand even little from that and try to show off from that.
After discussing many things the person came to the conclusion saying I don’t have patriotism. Do you know why, because I didn’t consider Sunil Chhetri to messi and Ronaldo.
Common guys Sunil Chhetri is a very good player no doubt in that. Yes he played and won many matches. But please don’t compare his level with those legends. And coming to the patriotism I will support the Indian team if it gets selected in FIFA in coming years. For that we need more Chhetris in Indian team.
I don’t have time to argue anymore with the such people because FIFA fever is on, so let’s support them and enjoy the match.
