Quiero presentarles a mi gato, Picho, es un gato de 4 años que llegó a mi vida justo cuando más lo necesitaba. Tengo ya 5 años viviendo en Nuevo León, México; me mudé debido a que tenía una oportunidad de trabajo.
I want to introduce you to my cat, Picho, he is a 4-year-old cat who came into my life just when I needed him the most. I have been living in Nuevo León, Mexico for 5 years; I moved because I had a job opportunity.
En esa época y lejos de mi familia me sentí algo solo en un lugar que no conocía y ahí es cuando supe que necesitaba un compañero peludo. Mi primer intento por adoptar un gatito de la calle no me salió tan bien, ya que al que recaté la primera vez tenía dueño y me lo pidieron un par de días después.
At that time and away from my family I felt somewhat alone in a place that I did not know and that is when I knew that I needed a furry companion. My first attempt to adopt a kitten from the street did not turn out so well, since the one I demure the first time had an owner and they asked me a couple of days later.
Así que decidí que, si en mi destino habría un gato, el universo me lo mandaría cuando fuera el momento…Y el momento llegó, una noche cuando llegué del trabajo me dispuse a cocinar y fue cuándo escuche un maullido afuera de la ventana de la cocina, era un gatito que parecía perdido. Sólo le habría la puerta, y cómo si hubiera vivido en esa casa de toda la vida, entró y se acostó en el sillón. Desde ese día hemos estado juntos, con sus altas y sus bajas.
