This weekend I wanted to see something different from what I usually do, I did not want to see any movie or series, I wanted something simple to see so that I could have as background noise in what I do housework, so I put a cartoon. Infinity Train, from Cartoon Network, but what a surprise I found myself on HBO Max.
Literal llevo todo el fin de semana pegado a la pantalla viendo una caricatura como cuando era niño, lo que pensé sería un cartoon más del montón en el que no hay mucho que procesar, se volvió un viaje de autoconocimiento, acción, aventura y esa magia que tenían las caricaturas de antes. Infiniti Train me parece una cucharada de todo lo que me gusta de una buena serie de misterio en un formato digerible que te mantiene siempre expectante de lo que sucederá a continuación.
Literally I've been glued to the screen all weekend watching a cartoon-like when I was a child, what I thought would be one more cartoon out of the bunch in which there is not much to process, it became a journey of self-knowledge, action, adventure, and that magic that had the cartoons from before. Infiniti Train strikes me as a spoonful of everything I like about a good mystery series in a digestible format that keeps you always looking forward to what will happen next.
La trama de la serie va sobre un tren que es infinito, vamos que el título ya te lo indica. Lo que no nos dice el título es que este tren tiene una misión especial, todos sus tripulantes son personas que en algún punto de su vida se perdieron y necesitan volver a encontrarse a través de superar los diferentes vagones del tren. Cada vagón es un mundo diferente con personajes que habitan el tren y que brindan su ayuda para que te reconectes con tu pasado y superes tu presente.
The plot of the series is about a train that is infinite, the title already tells you. What the title does not tell us is that this train has a special mission, all its crew members are people who at some point in their lives were lost and need to find themselves again through overcoming the different train cars. Each wagon is a different world with characters that inhabit the train and who offer their help to reconnect with your past and overcome your present.
Es así como en la primera temporada conocemos a Tulip, una adolescente programadora que sufre el divorcio de sus padres y la tensión que hay entre ellos hace que pierda un evento importante en el que presentaría el juego en el que ha estado trabajando, esto la orilla a escapar de casa para ir a la convención, pero en el trayecto aborda un extraño tren y pierde la conciencia. Al despertar nota que tiene un número en su mano derecha y una pelotita robótica llamada Uno-Uno la observa.

En lo personal es una serie que me ha atrapado muchísimo, cada temporada tiene nuevos personajes, pero el mensaje sigue siendo el mismo, a veces para reencontrarnos con lo más importante de nuestra vida necesitamos un viaje en tren.
Personally, it is a series that has caught me a lot, each season has new characters, but the message remains the same, sometimes to reconnect with the most important thing in our life we need a train trip.
