I got a call at around 8am from my brother to come an assist him with a minor plumbing work. I have heard about the area but did not know the route to the town so I asked a couple of friends and was directed to the lorry station where I can get the car to the location.
Reaching there, I asked for the moving car but it appeared that there was two cars loading to the same area, but one goes to the estate and the other one closes so to verify, I called my brother to talk to talk to the conductor so as to directed me to the which of the trotros I should pick. After talking to him the conductor said asked that I board his car. Long story short, this conductor dropped me at a place which was not even close to the site so I had to call again and have him come pick me up from the junction.
Just as I got there, I was instructed on what to do. Had to get a pickaxe and slightly dig a shallow pathway for the pipes to lay in to where we will be connecting the standing pipe and of course I could not move the dirt without the help of a shovel.
Having finished that, we had to chisel out few areas of the wall so we can connect the the pipes to the outlets. We are working with PP-R pipes so we had a heating fusion machine with us to help with connecting and by 12:00 in the afternoon, we had completed the work and ready to leave the site.
That was a time well spend and a smart way of utilizing my time since I had nothing planned for the day. Next time we will be fixing the appliance for the inside and I will be bringing you update.
