The FIFA WOMEN WORLD CUP is finally over and like many others around me, it was one of the very first times I actually followed as many matches as possible.
A lot of people say it's not as fast paced as the men's team, but I think most people have moved past that and are only interested in giving the ladies 100% support.

A lot of people were talking about the matches and surprisingly my friend (I'll call him XYZ) XYZ was telling me about a match he watched.
Ordinarily this shouldn't have been a problem, except for the unusual nature of the whole thing. For the past twelve years I've known him, XYZ is someone who doesn't do any kind of sports no matter how we taunt him.

So hearing him talk about football was surprising until I began to see a pattern. He was constantly talking about Asisat Oshoala and Michelle Alozie of the Nigerian Super falcons.
Oshoala pulled her shirt in celebration after scoring a goal and she literally had many of us very interested in women football, Alozie on the other hand had many guys professing their undying love (me included).

My friend who doesn't watch or participate in any sports was now interested in watching women football. It was a sign that miracles actually do happen.
We've been trying to get him to change all these years, who knew all we had to do was simply make him watch women football.

On the subject of women though, I really don't know how they're able to juggle a lot of their social media presence.
I have very low amount of friends or followers on my social media accounts with Facebook just around 800 or so.

I was with a female friend just this past week and I coincidentally glanced at her phone when she was chatting on Facebook.
I was shocked to see over 400+ people whose chats were unread, I mean more than four hundred human beings.

I was curious so I had to ask her to scroll down and I realized that a large percentage were guys who kept texting even though they never got any replies.
I want to catch that person who said it's a man's world and flog him very well, because it was obvious many men were literally passing through a lot in the DMs.

I think Beyonce actually got it right when she said who runs the world? GIRLS.
