Hola, hermosa comunidad.

Justo hace unas horas pudo dormir a Emma.

Hello, beautiful community.

I hope you are having a nice Saturday, sharing with family, and enjoying the company.

Today I wanted to do a post about my sister and my baby. It is very rare to see my sister interacting so much with a child, usually she is not a person who likes to have children around. However, with Emma it has been quite the opposite, she has shown an affection that has left me speechless. The way she cares for her, how she takes care of her, how she sings to her and how she is always by her side has been something admirable.

In a way I feel a little jealous because Emma cries incessantly with me, but my sister just by holding her and rocking her, she calms down, stops crying and even falls asleep in her arms. I always tell her that Emma loves her, and when she's not here she misses her.

Yesterday was an intense evening because she wasn't here, she had gone to a friend's house and wouldn't be back until the next day. Emma cried quite a bit during the night, and even my mom couldn't put her to sleep. In the end, she gave up and fell asleep at 12 o'clock at night.

Today when my sister came back, it was amazing how Emma clung to her arms. And even when she's awake, she's calmer with her than she is with me. My sister jokes and tells me that what happens is that they have a bond, since she was the one who was there when she was born and stayed with us in the hospital.

I remember when I had Emma in my belly, my sister didn't like to touch my belly, it gave her the creeps and she didn't feel comfortable. But now that the baby is with us, she always carries her. Sometimes I tell Emma that she is a traitor (joking, of course) because it is not possible that she cries so much next to me and my sister manages to calm her down with just a few minutes.

As I told you once, my sister does not want to have children of her own, but I am glad to see that there is a protective instinct in her towards her nieces. She behaves that way with my other sister's children with whom she is very close.

I think we are very fortunate to have her, and even more so now that my husband is away. She has helped us a lot, even when it is not her job to do so. I call her Mama Rosa because she is practically like Emma's second mother. I know she has unconditional love for my baby and she has been amazing.

Just a few hours ago she was able to put Emma to sleep. The baby was crying her eyes out and wouldn't stop for anything. She took her in her arms, took her to her room and with English music that only she knows how to sing, she was able to put her to sleep. She put her to bed and as I write this, she is watching over Emma's sleep and waiting for the moment she wakes up.

I am glad to have her and that she loves my daughter as much as I do.

Greetings to all.

Thank you for reading and making it this far.
