Hola, amigos de la creatividad. Hace un par de días quería compartir con ustedes un proyecto en el que trabajé hasta la madrugada. Aunque me alegra el resultado final, ya que puse todo mi empeño.

Cómo ven en el título, esta es una muñeca hecha con billetes que ya no se usan. Debido a los miles de cambios de cono monetarios en Venezuela, muchos billetes quedan en desuso. Debido a esto, he visto que muchas personas han logrado darle una segunda vida al papel moneda con diferentes creaciones. Hoy les presentaré la mía.

Hello, friends of creativity. A couple of days ago I wanted to share with you a project I worked on until the wee hours of the morning. I'm happy with the end result though, since I put all my effort into it.

As you can see in the title, this is a doll made with bills that are no longer used. Due to the thousands of changes of monetary cone in Venezuela, many bills are no longer in use. Because of this, I have seen that many people have managed to give a second life to paper money with different creations. Today I will present you mine.

Materiales.

Silicón.
Alambre de cobre.
Billetes.
Tijeras.
Cinta adhesiva.
Tubos de cartón de papel higiénico.
Cartón fino reciclable.
Un palillo de altura.

Materials.

Silicone.
Copper wire.
Bills.
Scissors.
Adhesive tape.
Toilet paper cardboard tubes.
Thin recyclable cardboard.
A toothpick of height.

Primera parte: Falda.

Para la falda, primero hice tubitos largos con los billetes. Utilizando el palillo de altura para ayudarme a enrrollarlo. Hice una cantidad estimada de 30 tubitos.

First part: Skirt.

For the skirt, I first made long tubes out of the bills. Using the height stick to help me roll it up. I made an estimated 30 tubes.

Luego, con la ayuda de un compás, marque la mitad de una circunferencia, y la recorté. Luego, uní las puntas haciendo un cono con el cartón y a este le pegué alrededor de 22 tubitos, achatando las puntas y pegandolas desde arriba, quedando de esta manera.

Then, with the help of a compass, I marked half of a circumference, and cut it out. Then, I joined the ends making a cone with the cardboard and to this I glued about 22 tubes, flattening the ends and gluing them from above, looking like this.

Luego, tomando otros billetes, les di una forma circular en solo una punta dejando la otra normal. Estos le darán el aspecto bombacho a la falda. Estos billetes los vamos metiendo en la parte de la falda y los pegamos con silicón. La falda del vestido quedará de esta forma.

Then, taking other bills, I gave them a circular shape on only one end, leaving the other end normal. These will give the skirt a puffy look. We put these bills in the skirt part and glue them with silicone. The skirt of the dress will look like this.

Segunda parte: Torso de la muñeca.

Para está parte, cortamos un tubo de cartón y le damos una forma menos redonda. A este le achicamos lo que será la parte de la cintura fijando el cartón con cinta adhesiva.

Luego fijamos en la parte superior de la falda con silicón y esperamos a que seque.

Second part: Torso of the doll.

For this part, we cut a cardboard tube and give it a less round shape. We make the waist part of the tube smaller, fixing the cardboard with adhesive tape.

Then we fix the upper part of the skirt with silicone and wait for it to dry.

Una vez fijado, tomamos otros billetes y les haremos un doblez de al menos 1cm y lo empezaremos a doblar desde la parte ancha y recortaremos pequeños bastoncitos. Estos los pegaremos con silicón de forma vertical en el torso de nuestra muñeca.

Once fixed, we take other bills and make a fold of at least 1 cm and start folding it from the wide part and cut out small sticks. These we will glue with silicone vertically on the torso of our doll.

Después que peguemos todos alrededor del torso, haremos dos cintas con un billete y pegaremos una en la cintura y una en el pecho de nuestra muñeca.

After we glue them all around the torso, we will make two ribbons with a bill and we will glue one on the waist and one on the chest of our doll.

Tercera parte: Brazos.

Con dos de los tubitos restantes haremos cada brazo.

Para esto, utilizaremos un billete que entrará en el torso de la muñeca en el cual se fijará el cuello, dejando un pequeño espacio para los brazos. El alambre de cobre es lo que dará a los brazos flexibilidad.

Third part: Arms.

With two of the remaining tubes we will make each arm.

For this, we will use a bill that will go into the torso of the doll in which the neck will be fixed, leaving a small space for the arms. The copper wire is what will give the arms flexibility.

Luego de fijar el billete para el cuello, en el espacio mencionado meteremos el alambre de cobre, dejándolo que salga por ambos lados. Con los tubitos, los meteremos por cada lado y los fijaremos con silicón. Doblaremos los brazos, y con otros pedacitos de alambre, les pondremos codos.

After fixing the bill for the neck, in the mentioned space we will put the copper wire, letting it come out on both sides. With the tubes, we will insert them on each side and fix them with silicone. We will bend the arms, and with other pieces of wire, we will put elbows on them.

Parte cuatro: Cuello y cabeza.

Para el cuello, hice una cinta y la enrollé. Esta la pegué con silicón y luego la fijé a la base del torso. Y la cabeza la hice haciendo una bolita con un billete y luego con alambre de cobre le di forma. La fijé con silicón y luego hice unos rizos con alambre y se los coloqué para que simulara el cabello.

Part four: Neck and head.

For the neck, I made a ribbon and rolled it up. I glued it with silicone and then attached it to the base of the torso. For the head, I made a little ball with a bill and then I shaped it with copper wire. I fixed it with silicone and then I made some curls with wire and placed them to simulate hair.

Parte cinco: Paraguas y abanico.

Para el abanico y el paraguas, utilicé billetes de otro color. El abanico solo necesite doblarlo en zigzag y luego, con el alambre que salía del interior de uno de los brazos, lo enrosqué a él.

El paraguas lo hice doblando los billetes de la siguiente manera. Ver la imagen.

Part five: Umbrella and fan.

For the fan and umbrella, I used bills of a different color. The fan I just needed to bend it in a zigzag and then, with the wire coming out of the inside of one of the arms, I wrapped it around it.

The umbrella was made by folding the bills in the following way. See the image.

Luego, con cinta fijé cada uno y luego pegué con silicón las solapas. Para darle la forma, corté un círculo en un cartón delgado y a este le quite un triángulo. Al unirlo me dejaría un cono. Este lo pegue y luego cada billete en forma de triángulo fue pegado desde la punta hacia abajo, quedando al final de esta manera.

Then, I taped each one and glued the flaps with silicone. To make the shape, I cut a circle out of thin cardboard and cut a triangle out of it. Joining it together would leave me a cone. I glued it and then each triangle-shaped bill was glued from the tip down, leaving it like this at the end.

Por último pegue un tubito e el interior del cono y lo cubrí con recortes de billetes para más soporte. Una vez terminado, con el alambre sobresaliente del otro brazo, lo enrosqué en la parte inferior del paraguas fijandolo completamente.

Finally I glued a small tube to the inside of the cone and covered it with the cut out banknotes for more support. Once finished, with the wire protruding from the other arm, I screwed it to the bottom of the umbrella, fixing it completely.
