Hi, Leo Power Up Day in short LPUD happens every 15th of the month where users power up their Leo making them eligible for the delegation prizes.
First it was only a minimum of 150 Leo to be powered up participating in the LPUD but then a power up of at least 50 Leo was also added which to me is a good thing to see as it would allow those users who weren't able to power up 150 Leo. This addition of 50 Leo Power Up is something that could trigger more user participation as the primary focus of the platform should be attracting more participation.
Then there also are the delegation prizes for the participants who could receive some Leo Power delegations winning it which couch have that compounding effect on their curation rewards. It's a good thing to see how it's motivating users to participate in the LPUD and try for one of the delegation prizes to win.
The delegation prizes are not only given by Leofinance officially but there are also other users who are giving delegation prizes. I don't know what these Leo Power delegators get in return giving delegation prizes.
But anyway it's the day for powering up Leo and many lions might have been waiting for this day to power up their leo.
I also like power ups as it sort of gives one more power and adds to their curation rewards. It does look to have been going a bit rough for me in terms of earning at least 50 Leo to participate in this LPUD but I hope I might be able to participate in the next LPUD earning the minimum amount of 50 Leo. It could be an icing on the cake if I could earn even more than 150 Leo and power it up in the next LPUD.
But so far, I should try staying consistent in order to look for it.
