When it comes to ancient history my country(Pakistan) contains fair share of the treasures.One of the prominent of these being an ancient metropolis of TAXILA .
TAXILA is located in the northern part of Pakistan.It is the city of GADHARAN civilization.
TAXILA was a hub of Buddhism,center of learning an urban metropolis and a meeting point of many cultures,namely the Achaemenids, Greeks,Mauryans,Kushans,Hans and eventually Muslims.
From the tourist point of view it is very important place.Approximately 30000 tourist all around the world in a year visit this place.
