Beetroot cultivation in the garden 🌱

You can start growing the beetroot at the beginning of February 🤗 the sowing depth is about 2 to 3 cm. Germination temperature is between 10 and 21 degrees. I will plant them in the greenhouse at the beginning of April and outdoors at the beginning of May 😊 Direct sowing outdoors is possible from the beginning of May. However, pricking is not necessary. Beetroot loves a sunny location and humus-rich to sandy soil 🤗 the soil will enrich with fresh compost. Top-up fertilization with nettle manure is recommended. But the beetroot also loves a mulch layer as green manure.
