The oldest educational institution in Aceh is Dayah, and even dayah has produced many high-ability leaders.
However, up to the current infrastructure still maintain traditional style to the buildings made of Wood even there are still using Wood beam round.
The uniqueness of this should be maintained as appreciate the local culture containing a lot of philosophy, but to face the modern era need to be improved infrastructure for tailored to the demands of age.
Apart from its classical form, Dayah educational institutions have contributed a lot and gave birth to Muslim intellectuals in Aceh in particular.
Moreover, the attention of the government less of education dayah, to improve the condition that most already shabby and building ramshackle.
Education dayah unlike formal education got a lot of injection of funds from various parties, but not for education dayah, only help people who can help them survive despite the condition of concern.
