I committed myself to making a 1-minute video every single day back in April.

After 260 days of making a video, here are my few insights:

  1. Found A Sense Of Purpose:

The Mindful Minute Brand was built on inspiring people and helping those who are struggling with mental illness. For someone who's dealt with anxiety and depression, making daily videos has become my anti-depressant. I wake up PUMPED to make a video.

  1. Building Connections:

This world is incredibly connected. I experienced this first hand as I started posting videos on Facebook. I started getting messages from people from all over the world wanting to connect and talk. For someone starting out, that has been the best feeling in the world.

  1. MONEY!

It's amazing how creating more content has helped me increase my health coaching clients and received multiple freelances gigs for video editing/video coaching.

  1. Broader Perspective (The World Is Your Playground)

For me, having a vlogging camera with me at all times has transformed the way I see the world. An average hotel lobby has become a sandbox of experimenting with storytelling.

To Conclude:

Knowing what I know now of what daily videos has done for you, I challenge you, the Steemit community to take on vlogging and storytelling. Humans just want to connect with each other. And video adds jet fuel into that process.
