Soon enough, the Smart Media Token as announced by @ned yesterday will come to limelight. Really, this post is not hinged on SMT but I drew a lot of inspirations to write this from that initiative.
Apparently, it is an ingenious idea and has big prospects which are in fact very much promising. Imagine launching your own tokens and generating large income from your websites and blog. This is not the usual way of making income from ad-revenue. With SMT, you can monetize your blog with blockchain technology. Little wonder it was called the game changer.
TO MY DISCOURSE
Sometime ago, I read a book "Conquering an enemy called Average" by John Mason. Life changing nuggets are encapsulated within its pages.
Overtime, I have come to agree that one can do a lot better if one goes beyond common standards-average, an enemy which must be conquered.
How do you actualise this?
I have heard about how so many transport companies started from the scratch. A tricycle, then a bus. And then many busses. And even go ahead to expand their traveling locations.
They moved away from a comfort zone and accepted a new challenge. They did not say "ok we have a bus, maybe it is enough for us" Demands increased-a challenge and they had to face it. They did not rest on their present achievements.
What challenge do you accept today?
You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. ―R. Buckminster Fuller
I had a striking experience on steemit about a month ago when I signed up. I was drowned. Literally. I almost didn't know my way around here. Good friends helped put me into shape. I'm still trying to take a shape. @dante31 made a unique impact on me. "Tap into your inner resources" he told me once. That very statement had kept me going. I don't know if he is even aware of that. And days later, he commented on my post thus "I knew you had it within you" That's motivation!
The bottom line is that one should always strive to become better. One loses nothing by so doing. And if you are better already, look up to much better things. There a thousand of them. The world we live in today was once in a Stone age. I say again, no dream is lofty. Dream Big!
