In a season of roses
On an occasion of love
I remember you
With utmost nostalgia
How sudden those embers got rekindled
Glowing more than ever.
In a season of love turned lust
These feelings had no choice
Than ignite anew
But now, the feelings go into futility
We cannot nurture its embers to glow
For time had flown and rifts gullied
And even more painful, our hearts
Captured elsewhere by aliens to this fire
Maybe it would have been wise
To leave the embers to die out into ash
At least, it will be useful for ask Wednesday
Than rekindle a fire that cannot continue
