Maa Jhuma dhuri's temple is situated in Chamapawat district near about 5 km from Lohaghat. It is one of the highest temples in lohaghat. It is said that if anyone whose wishes are not going to full fill will come here and worship the goddess Maa Jhuma dhuri will definitely get whatever his/ her wishes from this temple.

Story of Maa Jhuma Dhuri Devi Temple :
This temple was established about 200 years ago. This place is believed to be the abode of 33 crore deities.
In this temple, Goddess is worshiped more to get children, those do not have children, they come here and worship the goddess Jhumadhuri devi, other people also come here with their wishes.
It is said that goddess Jhumadhuri devi who earliest fulfill the wishes of people in Kalyug era, goddess Jhumadhuri devi is rarely goddess in other who fulfill all people wishes.
Due to being away from the city, there is a huge crowd of devotees here. People come here from different places and worship the goddess Jhumadhuri here.
A big fair is organized here on the day of Nanda Ashtami, a lots of devotees throng here on that day! And everyone's wishes are fulfilled here on that day.
Establishment of Temple
It is said that there was an ancient temple at an inaccessible place, then goddess Jhumadhuri appeared in a dream to a village elder and said that my temple should be built at this place.
And goddess came on the dreams of a masons froma another family, the goddess appeared and said that you will build a chariot and organize a fair here.
It is said that it is a matter of Dwapar era that here Banasur used to come here to worship goddess Jhumadhuri here.
Visitors come here from far and wide with their vows and go from here happily from the goddess.
