Happiness and peace are the real thing. If we can't be happy living in a luxurious home and having a high-end job, then that luxury home or high-end job is of no value. Happiness is the main thing. Wealth cannot directly make a person happy. However, money can play an indirect role in increasing happiness and peace.
Let me tell you a little story first; The chief executive of an organization owns a lot of financial assets. But he is unhappy. But an ordinary low paid employee of his organization is much happier. She is happy in her personal life.
So we should ask ourselves, am I happy or sad? If we are happy then we have to give thanks to Allah. And when you are in distress, be patient and help Allah.
What stage I am in is what matters more than how I am.
