Nearby where I live is a construction road up to a mountain platou. From sea level and up where we can walk inward the platou it is 6 km. It is late autumn now with frozen ground and ice so I was unsure how far up it was possible to use the bikes. Around 500 meters above sea and after 4,5 km it was too much ice. We left the bikes and walked the last leg up and further inward the mountain.
It is a silent time of the year. The nature is preparing for the winter, no leafs on the trees, the grass i yellow and most of the birds have moved south to warmer climate. If we are lucky we can see som grouse or a raven against the sky. Lae autumn is a great time to be out and listen to silence.

The fence is used by the sami people for reindeer.

Today the summer time is over, the clock is adjusted backwards 1 hour. Around 16:00 it is almost dark, so it was time to heading down to the fjord again.
