Blue sky today and still possible to see the sun up in the mountain. I had to get out and enjoy the light, silence and the setting sun. The hike was in a terrain with much ups and downs so we used snowshoes. They are easier to walk with in hilly terrain. Where I live the sun is now disappeared until february next year. The goal was a small peak with view towards the vest and the setting sun. Today the sun disappear under the horizon around 2 o'clock.

The next 5 pictures is from the top. It was a nice experience to feel direct sunlight in the face, even if it does not heat much.
old traces of someone who has worn snowshoes. The wind has blown away loose snow and the tracks stand out like small islands.
Yes we have to go home :-)
