Congratulations on the girl. Something similar happened to me. When I watered with fertilizer (very rarely), I always put half or less for fear of burning them. One day the leaves started to turn yellow and fall off. I cleaned the roots thoroughly a couple of times and it got worse. The plant did not have excess fertilizer, it had a lack of fertilizer. Especially nitrogen. I hope you solve the yellow leaves problem with root flushing.
