Wednesday Walk - A Walk Down Memory Lane to My Secondary School with my High School Friends!
If there is a period of the best time of my life, one of them I would choose is definitely during my high school or secondary school period. I had the time of my life here with many of my friends, almost stress-free!
Well, almost stress-free but there were still exams and all. I remember I came home most of the days being happy and I always look forward to go to school again. I barely skip school because I was so eager to see my friends in school. I did not achieve a lot in school but it was very fulfilling for me.
For this week's #wednesdaywalk, I am glad to bring you back to school! My school is named SMK Green Road, after the road name it is l
I was having breakfast with 2 friends from school opposite the school, and one of them suggested why not we drop by our old school to see how it has changed!
We went immediately after breakfast. It was actually walking distance from our breakfast place but we drove. Hahah managed to take a wefie with the school sign outside.
This is my first time entering in after 20 years of leaving school. My batch left at 2003. Of course the school has changed much!
It was a Saturday when we went so some of the societies were having a telematch as it was also a school holiday. I later found this out because I posted my photos in Facebook and one of my former teachers commented to let me know. I didn't know she was around or else I would have gladly greeted her. This is our old school hall which is still in use.
I was a bit shy to walk in so my friend drove us in. He said by now we can even qualify to say we are dropping off our kids here hahaha.
The old canteen.
This was the block where I joined the Radio club in my lower secondary time.
I have to say the school is maintained well.
The Wall of Fame.
Look at me overjoyed taking a walk down to take photos.
Another wefie before we exited the school compound.
It was also my birthday so my girl friend baked me some tiramisu cake. So yummy!!!
