I have not been actively posting and replying since the boys and myself got sick and recovered and then they had bad stomach periods. After that, it was news that my sister and her 18-month-old caught Covid and then my brother is now hospitalized for a shoulder surgery with the sports orthopedic. I was seriously quite overwhelmed.
Putting those aside, today I want to share one of the items I bought from the Big 11.11 sales. Yeah I know not everyone think it is a big deal but for me who shop online and want to compare to get the best deals, it is quite a BIG deal!!!
I have been eyeing this local brand Cheekaaboo that manufacture thermal swim wear for children where they use 2mm neoprene to keep the children warm even after they are out from water. It is a bit expensive which is the reason why I always hesitate and did not spend on it. As the weather in Malaysia changes while my boys still love water activities and my son catches cold soooooooo easily, I decided to grab a good deal on 11.11.
Got this for RM96.90 from its online original price of RM144.50 and retail price RM169.90!I feel so proud of myself saving a lot on it though it is probably an "aunty" or petty thing to feel. Received it today and love the material. Very impressed by this local brand and it fits my son very well. This came through a very fast delivery considering it was just 2 days after my purchase. I tell myself to invest in one for the eldest so it can be passed down to the youngest too to make it totally worthy hahaha.
My eldest son chose this colour by himself and I too think I want a neutral colour because who knows if we ever get a baby sister, right? Hahaha. I think he looks so comfortable and good in it.
Also got this bathrobe for RM30. Though I already chose a size bigger for him, it still looks a bit short or rather just nice for him now. I was planning to use it longer but looks like this will only do for a while before he passes it on to this younger brother. The cotton material is really good and it is like a towel. Like the material very much.
Well, I do not deny that buying things at a good price do help me relax in some ways. But ya, only buy when it is necessary. Even grabbing a good deal for diapers and save some ringgit puts me in a good mood. So I plan my buying in advance hahah and do my comparison besides exercising self-control and putting in consideration for a long time usually. This is my simple joy of online shopping.
