Second day in Kuching, back home!

Day 1 was used to travel and when we reached it was already 11pm. So basically we did nothing. The sun rises earlier here and 630am felt like 730am in Kuala Lumpur. So all of us became early risers when we are back here.

Today's itinerary is mainly just some pool fun with the boys. Not just with my boys but also with my nephew boy!

We bought an inflatable pool that is 305cm long that can only be played in my parents' house car porch as they have the space. It's something my sister and I cannot do in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore because we stay in apartments and condominiums.

It was easy to be inflated using an electric pump. We just need to inflate 3 different rings and then it is ready to he used!

From this to THIS!

This is a type of brinjal that I am not sure if other parts of the world has it or not. We call it the Iban terung here, which means Iban (one of the races here in Sarawak) brinjal. It is orangey yellow in colour.

Realizing she needed more black vinegar for her pork trotter in vinegar, I then drove my mum to a nearby store to buy some things too.

The amusing yet interesting thing was their staff are dressed in cabin crew uniform. They look very nice in it.

It sure feels very good to be back! We will be here for 8 days in total but day 1 was already spent on travelling over to Kuching from Kuala Lumpur. Hope to make more memories together with my parents!
