I already planned on building a house after a year of working and savings. I called the contractor to give me just an estimate of how much it would cost.
And after hearing the estimate, I was so shocked at how expensive building a house has cost us now. The economy is really bad and we can't afford to build a portable house. Even this bungalow is very expensive.
You have to spend millions just to roof and do a lot of things. I think I might still go with paying rent for now until I'm fully capable of building a house without any stress or any financial strain.
It's not easy in this economy. I'm getting work every day. I don't know what to do.
