These gently yellow tulips refer to the species 'terry late tulips'
Representatives of this class have dense terry flowers that resemble peonies. Hence the second name of these tulips was "pion-like".
From terry early tulips, they differ in larger sizes and late flowering: the buds blossom only in the second half of May.
