Grasshopper green is a beautiful large insect of bright green or salad color with long translucent wings. The characteristic natural color serves as an excellent masking tool for a green grasshopper, which lives mainly in grasses and bushes. From the middle of summer to late autumn it can be found in gardens, on the fringes of forests, along the edges of fields and meadows.
