When there is so much rain we are thankful that we live on a mountain. We have had almost seven inches in the last seven days. The ground is saturated and our well is full to ground level.
Parts of the road are washed out.
The county fixed our road from washing out. It has taken them a year for them to get around to it, but the rain washed out most of the fix.
We have empathy for people in the low areas because it is a hard time for them. We try never to complain about the rain because it is a gift from God, but sometimes enough is enough. When the long hot summer gets here will think about all the rain we had.
