I liked how Daniel’s mother stopped what she was doing, hugged him with tears in her eyes that scene showed her love and forgiveness to him. David's comments about everyone just trying to get by sounded very true and wise. Those instances really made the story feel to be true to life, warm, and easy to empathize with.
