Today i was asked by my boss if i could go and inspect a couple of property that needed to be photographed and put on the list for marketing them as for sale or rental properties , so i didn't mind getting out for a walk and getting paid for it. It was a opportunity to see what the city streets would be looking like on lock down the Bangkok city is on lock down but we are still free to walk around we do have a curfew everyone needs to be indoors by 10 pm and can be out again at 4 am but even though the city is on lock and we are free to walk around it looked like a ghost town out there i do think all of the Bangkok workers have all closed up and gone back to there province's to stay with there families and loved ones. It certainly was a city that was taking a nap , never in 20 years of coming and working in Bangkok have i seen it like this all shopping malls, restaurants and night life closed down just a very weird and strange that this is really happening , i certainly feel sorry for many small businesses that will not survive this and will not see them opening up again when this is all over. God help us !!
