What This Feature Actually Does
For Android (Lockdown Mode):
It disable fingerprint and smart lock
Requires your PIN, pattern, or password
Hide sensitive notifications on lock screen
Turn off "Hey Google" voice commands
For iOS (Lockdown):
Temporarily disable Face ID and Touch ID
Requires passcode to unlock
Hides notification content
Why This Feature
i) Prevents Coercion: If someone tries to force to unlock your phone with biometrics, you can activate it.
ii) Extra Privacy: Hides sensitive notification when you are in public access
iii) Peace of Mind: Perfect for situations where you want maximum security temporarily
How to enable it
On Android:
Go to Settings > Security > Device lock
Enable "Show lockdown option"
To activate: Press and hold power button, then tap "Lockdown"
