Old lady's clay pot
In my grandmother's village hut
Well built without hurt
Sitting majestically at a sunless spot
Potters at work to knead you up
Out of clays and enriched muds
Kneeling down with hands soaked up
To bring to you these decorated spots
When it rains we filled you up
Waiting for the time the heat comes up
To have our bath and drink with cup
From the content of your clayish pot
Old lady! old lady! Where have you been
Your craftsmanship, again, we've not seen
Why is it so? We all think
To this craft that has just dimmed.
