" أتى عليّ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأنا ألعب مع الغلمان فسلّم علينا فبعتني إلى حاجة فأبطأت على أمي فلمّا جئت قالت : ما حبسك؟ قلت : بعثثي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لحاجة قالت : ما حاجته ؟ قلت : أنها سر قالت : لا تحدثنّ بسر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أحدا" قال أنس : والله لو حدثت به أحدا" لحدثتك يا ثابت ".
On Thabit, on the authority of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, he said:
"Ali came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, while I was playing with the children, so he greeted us, so he sent me to do something, so I stopped for my mother. When she came, she said: Why are you in prison?" They spoke before the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him." Anas said: By Allah, if you had spoken to anyone, your hadith would have been proven."
📚️ Narrated by Muslim (2482)
"Hazrat Anas (RA) narrates that once the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) came to me, while I was playing with the boys, and said: You have greeted us all, and for what purpose did you ask me?" sent, so I reached my mother late; when I came, my mother asked: Why are you late? I said: I was sent by the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on what errand; he asked: What was your errand? I said: He is a secret; my mother said: You should not disclose the secret of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace;
Sayyiduna Anas (RA) said: By Allah! proven; If I tell that secret to anyone; So I will definitely tell you (who is a seeker of the hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ)!”
