There live two friends Tom and Karma, Tom was a lover of love fictional stories such that he has always wanted to write his own book of love. One day he started writing his book and got to some point and stopped. He will take his book around and read it out to people and ask for their feedback, they will tell him his story is not interesting, but boring and he will come back home disheartened. The next day he will take his story out and read it to people again and they kept giving him the same feedback. He came back home again disappointed. Anytime he takes the story to continue, he will hold on to the pen whiles looking at the empty paper till it slips away.
Tom kept on repeating the same thing till days turned into months and he eventually gave up on his dream of becoming a writer. One day Karma came to borrow a book from Tom: when Karma was searching for the book he wanted to borrow, he saw Tom’s story and so he took the book and started to read and got to a point in the book where he stopped. He asked Tom if that was his story, Tom replied please do not remind me of my misery. Karma told him I have read the story but the story has not ended, so how can one tell its value, and what your reason is for writing the story.
Tom realized that he had to finish the story in order to let people grasp its content fully, and then be able to tell him what they make of the story. For that to happen he has to have a reason for writing the story and that reason will make him stay self-motivated in order to finish the story.
