I managed to spot this car a few months ago, it was a particularly nice example, I think I've only seen 3 of these on the road so its a very rare car to see on the road.
The paint work was supreme and it looked as though it was used to being taken out and not a garage queen.
Lotus ended the production of the 7 and the rights were sold to who have produced them ever since.
A great little sports car that is fun to drive and easy to own. You can even build one yourself. There is a big kit car market for these things and its a great project to build in the back yard.
