My fascination with these tiny and cute EV's continues and there are more and more of them on the streets every day it seems.

The cars are very basic jut off the assembly line but it has become quite fashionable for people to customize them in all sorts of ways including having roof racks (which are quite practical considering the almost non existent interior storage space), off road packages (stupid: this vehicle is not going off road), racing kids (also stupid, this car is not fast and cannot be made so), and a ton of decals, wheel types, and custom paint jobs.

This whole process seems kind of fun and just from walking around my neighborhood I have seen many places whose entire business seems to be modifying these cars exclusively.

10K for a car, a brand new car, is really cheap.

This one that I encountered yesterday at first glance looks like it is stock standard but it actually isn't. They have made a few subtle adjustments to it that I think are quite tasteful and do make it look a lot better than it does right off the showroom floor, but without ending up all gaudy and looking like a toddler was in charge of the decoration.

The got custom after-market wheels on it which look a bit more sturdy that the standard hubcap ones that come with it and they put something on the roof of it so that the entire top is black and has almost a fiberglass sort of look to it.

These little adjustments set this car apart from the thousands of other white ones but without including a single Hello Kitty decal in the mix.

The person who owned it noticed me taking photos of it and I gave him a thumbs up. I see so many of these cars and over time I kind of chuckle at the ones that have been done up to look like a car out of an anime, but I actually think they look rather retarded. The ones that have racing stuff on them are particularly dumb because while I don't know what the max speed of these things are, seeing as how they have wheels that are only slightly larger than motorcycle tires I am going to guess that the top speed is nothing to get excited about. You certainly wouldn't want to race these things.

They kind of look trashy when people put too much crap on them and this is why I think that this one is actually kind of perfect. They managed to take the most common color that has been sold of this vehicle and make it look really classy and sensible.

one of these days I hope to drive one of these things. So far all I have ever done was sit in the driver's seat when a friend of mine rented one, ironically to move from one house to another. That must have taken a long time seeing as how there is almost zero space inside of it.

While I was sat in the drivers seat though I did notice that although the car looks seriously small from the outside, the interior was just as spacious as you would expect the drivers seat to be in any vehicle. I'm not small and I didn't feel cramped.

I will remain an observer though because I have zero intention of ever having a car in this country with its crazy as hell roads.
