I'm spending a few days in the Dolomites, a part of the Italian Alps. Most beautiful mountains in the world (sorry everybody else that's a fact). The walk today started at Sella Brunech (2480 meters), then following a seesaw ridge the Pederiva path (2500-2600 meters) to St. Niccolo pass (2340). From there after examining some trenches from the 1st world war I began my descent.
