Lately I’ve been getting a bit more into macro shots and I’ve spent more times in my yard…
Coincidence? I think not!!!
But in doing so I come up with themes to challenge myself (and some of my friends).
This theme was “LEAVES”
Only if you take a closer look you can see some of the beautiful details that nature has hidden in these leaves. I mean, we pass them every day and we don’t always pay them any mind.
And that’s why I enjoy macro now, it makes me look closer, makes me really pay attention before I press CLICK.
And to think, this is all just around my house, think of what I could find when I go further
I took these with my Canon M50 with a 50mm lens and with a 55-250 zoom lens. I've been playing around with shutter speed, F stop and ISO a bit.
As you can see below I'm very much a fan of this 'noni' tree (Morinda Citrifolia) in my yard. Not only does it have beautiful leaves but it seems to be a center piece for all the ants, wasps, bees, iguanas and birds (including 2 hummingbirds that keep coming back 😍)
Hope you guys enjoyed it! If you have any questions of tips, feel free to hit the comments!
Cheers,
@Gvkanten
