NYFW SS 2017: Best shows

Hello, guys! How are the things going? As I mentioned before, I study design in the university. So it’s not a surprise that I'm very passionate about fashion.
I want to talk about one of the recent fashion events - New York Fashion Week SS 2017. Many famous bloggers, actors, singers and just people all over the world, who like fashion are gathering in one city with one purpose - find out the main trends of the season. Today I want to describe the most discussed collections of NYFW SS 2017 that interested me.
First, Alexander Wang. This collection seemed to me very inspiring. Light colors, geometric patterns, minimalism, comfortable, but at the same time unusual clothes - all this describes the creations of the famous American designer.

Also the music in the show was so appropriate, that even a designer happily ran down the runway at the end.

In addition, I want to mention some interesting facts about Alexander Wang:

1. designer has launched his own brand when he was 20 years old;
2. he served as a creative director in Balenciaga;
3. his clothing collections are stocked in more than 700 stores.

Another well-known designer whose collection in NYFW I want to mention is Marc Jacobs. Undoubtedly, it was one of the most extraordinary shows of that week. There were high platforms, dreads, a lot of tinsel and bright colors.

Many famous models were attended in this show (Irina Shayk , Taylor Marie Hill, Karlie Kloss, Bella Hadid and others). This collection has attracted me with it’s originality.

Here’s some information about Marc Jacobs:

1. from 1997 to 2013, Mark was the chief designer of the French brand Louis Vuitton;
2. designer learned to knit because of his grandmother. The first item of clothing, which he sold, was a sweater;
3. Mark has a dog named Neville. And Neville has an account on Instagram!

And the last one in our list is Ralph Lauren. There were many famous personalities, who supported this American designer: Jessica Alba, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julianne Moore and others. The show was held in a chic glass pavilion in front of the Ralph Lauren boutique. Suede, big hats, massive ornaments and ethics- keywords of this collection.

Personally I really liked that designer adhered the collection to one topic, and it's "western" .

So, do you want to know something new about Ralph Lauren?

1. Ralph is on the list of the 200 richest people in the world. He’s also engaged in charity;
2. in 16 years, Ralph has changed his surname to Lauren because he didn't want to endure the ridicule from others;
3. designer starred in an episode of the famous sitcom “Friends”.
