I live in Scotland and today, 28th January about 16 30 GMT, in my town, we experienced very brief, intermittent, powercuts. It was almost as if the whole grid had blown a fuse over and over again. Car alarms were going off and the air outside seemed really thick and full of static. EMP perhaps?
