It was pretty much a simple day, I woke up feeling the energy of the country đŹđ as we were anticipating the World Cup Match we were to have with Portugal đľđš
I did what the dentist asks of us and made my Sallah, took a cold bath as usual which made me understand how much I needed a hot bath one of these days.
And Oo, the issue of me being late to work, was shoved up my colleagueâs noses today as I was the one who had taken the office key home yesterday and opened it today. Howâs that for a change huh? đ
The office was quite empty this morning though, thatâs how we the early comers like it đ
Today I was tasked to do a check-up on the PCs of some of the consulting rooms, initially, I thought it would just be like how itâd always been, just going check the necessary stuff and picking the system unit then blowing the dust inside it.
It didnât turn out that easy as the place I was going to was brimming with people, damn health is really important. Some PCs just had to be so slow as a snail, took a lot of time with only disk cleanup.
A funny issue I encountered there, so apparently there was a doctor whose mouseâs scroll wheel wasnât functioning, I told them to use the scroll bar and they started complaining about how the IT guys never solved their problems. They complained so much that I didnât even know what to say to them. Just how is using the scroll bar difficult?
After working on the PCs over there, I headed over to our main office to check on a PC they had brought there to be worked on.
They had complained their PC takes a long time to boot, I make a simple check on it, opened and cleaned the ram, and guess what, the PC was dying of dust so I had to blow it⌠Behold, after I kept everything back and turned it on, everything started working normally.
After which I went to get food since it was exhausting, guess what? The same thing as the last time, everything had finished except kenkey đŞ
After eating and praying, I waited for the promised time which was the game between Ghana and Portugal. The time had finally reached and we seated for the game, we had streamed it live on a PC.
Tensions were rising as the game started, I feel my heart in my mouth when I saw Ronaldo score but was rejected afterward. Ghana had played well in the first half of the game but was much on defense. And Portugal is taking all the possession for that half.
The second half was underway after the break and Ghana seemed to have changed a bit from the defensive pose they had implored. Not long into the second half and Portugal was awarded a penalty which was netted by C. Ronaldo.
Ghana equalized later yet the celebration was short-lived as Portugal had netted a second goal which dumped the spirit of the Ghanaians, another goal followed shortly after⌠Ghana then got a goal to make it 3 for Portugal, and 2 for Ghana.
I was pretty disappointed so I left early for my place, on the way I heard a few shouts and thought Ghana had equalized only for me to find out that Ghana had a clean opportunity and the player fell leaving the ball.
At home, I took my food feeling sad đ because of the loss and prepared to have a long night's sleep since I know I canât have a good night's sleep.
