The Happy Simplicity

We took the Toyota Hilux onto the Salar de Uyuni. If you follow my blog you have seen some images from there. In total, we spend 3 nights out there. The first time we went during the day and then in the following days we went again and again.

The first night I wanted to get a feel for the conditions I started a simple one. That is what you see here. The blue hour has long past and I took the little night writer from Darren Pearson and scribbled the ballon.

The exposure time here is not very long. The first image is a 30-second and the last image is a 37-second single exposure light painting.

The equipment was always in the car. Not so much for safety as you would suspect but because you could not just layout your stuff on the forest floor. It's all wet and if you go deeper into the flats it's mostly water 5cm deep.

Afar was the shine of Uyuni and some cars driving at night to look for the stars.

Happy? This ballon should make everyone happy I think.
