Week 127 of Hive #openmic arrives with a new theme titled "Tevazu", proposed by the user 
@okayozdemiroglu.
In this opportunity I'm going to present for all my Hive colleagues the piece Registro of the legendary Suite Venezolana de Antonio Lauro.
A few weeks ago I was able to talk a little bit about Antonio Lauro and his importance in the history of the Soloist Guitar worldwide (Here is the link, if you are interested). Continuing with this line of thought, I want to make 4 videos interpreting each piece of the Suite, which in my opinion is one of the most important works of Antonio Lauro.
It is worth noting that Antonio Lauro was not only an exceptional musician, but also a political activist and on October 21, 1951 he was arrested after being discovered by the Venezuelan police with a series of plans to overthrow the government in power. He spent almost two years in prison, during his stay in jail, he was granted thanks to his wife a guitar that he could play occasionally, and it was during those days that he composed the Suite Venezolana (And other works).
This fact is impressive to me, since in spite of being deprived of his freedom in unfavorable conditions, he was able to create in such darkness and despair a musical work of such high excellence.
Antonio Lauro is for me a figure of admiration and respect, both for his musical work and for his modest way of living life, as many of his students and followers claim that this man was humble and simple, therefore, it seemed like a perfect fit to present him for this week at the Hive Open Mic.

Llega la semana 127 de Hive #openmic con una nueva temática titulada "Tevazu", propuesta por el usuario @okayozdemiroglu.
En ésta oportunidad voy a presentar para todos mis colegas de Hive la pieza Registro de la legendaria Suite Venezolana de Antonio Lauro.
Hace unas semanas atrás pude hablar un poco sobre Antonio Lauro y su importancia en la historia de la Guitarra Solista a nivel mundial (Aquí les dejo el enlace, sí es de su interes). Continuando con ésta línea de pensamiento, quiero hacer 4 vídeos interpretando cada pieza de la Suite, que a mí parecer es una de las obras más importantes de Antonio Lauro.
Cabe destacar que Antonio Lauro era además de un músico excepcional, un activista político y el 21 de octubre de 1951 fue arrestado tras ser descubierto por la policía Venezolana con una serie de planes para derrocar el gobierno de turno. Pasó casi dos años en prisión, durante su estadía en la carcel, se le concedió gracias a su esposa una guitarra que podía tocar ocasionalmente, y fue durante ésos días que compuso la Suite Venezolana (Y otras obras más).
Este hecho para mí es impresionante, ya que a pesar de estar privado de libertad en condiciones desfavorables, pudo crear en tanta oscuridad y desesperanza una obra musical de tan elevada excelencia.
Antonio Lauro es para mí una figura de admiración y respeto, tanto por su obra musical como por su manera tan modesta de vivir la vida, ya que muchos de sus estudiantes y seguidores alegan que éste hombre era humilde y sencillo, por ende, me pareció como anillo al dedo el presentarlo para ésta semana en el Hive Open Mic.
