Panels and Speakers

In both the paid and free tracks there's some exciting speakers. For example, Geoff Sawyer from Red Bull Media House, Alexander Kokhanovskyy from Dream Team and Robert Binning from Stream Space are going to run a panel discussing using the blockchain to eliminate media piracy in relation to the music, gaming and entertainment industry.

There's a range of experience amongst the presenters but while there's an evident value-added experience that one can obtain from hearing seasoned executives, there's definitely value in listening and interacting with the newcomers and serial entrepreneurs that typically haunt these conferences.

This is another reason to attend. Since this isn't a one-off conference, meaning it is designed and run properly, there are myriad networking breaks and opportunities to mingle with the presenters, exhibitors and other attendees. That's where the real value of conferences is. The main reason anyone attends any conference is to network, sell, or to a lesser degree, source something.

I didn't see any red flags for this particular event although anyone attending in order to find plausible partners or source a product should do their homework first. No one wants to end up dealing with someone who couldn't deliver a pizza.
