We have to do this annually because the major events are multi-month projects. We may not even get all the bills in in one quarter and we definitely don't get the results that quickly. They rely heavily on partnerships and opportunities and those take considerable time. A listing can take a year.

Small gains such as the number of onboards (bloggers) are not really a valid measure of success because we don't hold major events like this. Let's say an event aimed at securing a large partner costs $10,000 HBD. We onboard 500 end users who open accounts because maybe they'll blog. That's $20 HBD per person. Out of these, 100 actually use their account to publish a post. That's $100 HBD per person. Maybe 10 will stick around for the long haul. So now that's $1,000 HBD per long term community member. That's just absurdity. But if we get an entire mall to accept HBD or a card payment partner to integrate HIVE/HBD, well now we've created a circular economy and yet another use case for Hive. Or we got a free listing out of it. A small paid listing costs twice as much as that event. A conference invite to speak is the same.

If you have ideas on how to get the milestones tracked best, by all means let's talk. We're getting a site together for this right now. Insights from industry professionals are very appreciated.

No one applies for funding. The projects are initiated as promotional, they're not applied to, people just put forward ideas and plans if they have one. It's not an incubator model, that's what's hard to convey. The priorities are investors and B2B right now, which are also a criteria.
