If you haven't logged into Steam for a while or checked the store page, I'm here to be the bringer of good news. It took me a while because I didn't check the store page myself... Too busy playing ESO.
This week's sale is the Going Rogue Sale, A Festival of Persistence.
I personally love roguelike/lite games, and this sale has a bunch of gems. But one of the reasons why I want to highlight it is that there are some non-roguelike games, such as Sekiro, Nioh 2 and Jedi: The Fallen Order. All great games on their own that I simply fail to see they fit as roguelike or lite, but that for fans of Action-Adventure and more specifically Soulslike games are must plays.
It's nice to see that some new games such as Rogue Legacy 2 are also discounted. The discount is small, which is fair but it is still significant.
A personal recommendation of mine is Nightmare Reaper, which is also a new game.
This is a Doom style shooter with procedurally generated levels and random loot. A Doom clone with roguelike elements! And it has a minimal lore that keeps you hooked. The premise is simply great and the gameplay is really really addicting.
Again, the discount is not that big, but I did get it for this some months back too and I've been having tons of fun since.
This is honestly a great sale while we wait for the Summer Sale. I hope that it becomes a yearly thing.
