I'm going on the record to say that I freaking hate commercial radio. Shock jocks making fun of people with fake set ups and canned laughter, all that stuff. Having a 2 hour commute (1 hour each way) makes for a very quiet drive, so I went looking for Podcasts and found "No Guitar Is Safe". Amazing interviews by Jude Gold with brilliant guitarists that you (I) grew up with. There are only so many shred guitarist from the late 80's and early 90's so he mixes it up with the not so well known who are equally amazing from all different genres.
One of these that I was listening to was Mark Lettieri who is the guitarist for Snarky Puppy (again, never heard of them but are brilliant).
This song popped up in my YouTube feed from a guitar book published by fundamental changes. I loved the song and bought the book, not sure if I'll go through it, I just got it for the tabs of the song Sunday Brunch.
This is me on the tube playing it, all be it at around 75% of the original speed. The chord voicing are so tasty, by my crusty old fingers can't eat that quickly. Takes them a bit longer to chew.
Enjoy!
