OK, so I may have exagerated slightly but the other day we decided to treat my daughter to lunch at MacDonald's (yes I really am that tight). We went for the drive through, then parked up as usual (we live quite a drive away and if we take it home it will be cold before we get home).
The MacDonald's is right on the coast and has pretty good views, but as we parked up and started to eat, the seagulls started to circle.
After a few minutes they became braver and started to land on the car.
Luckily for me, I had my camera with me.
I started to take some pictures but I remembered some advice that I had read on several posts on Steemit. These posts said try and take pictures from unusual angles. Basically the advice was (and I'm paraphrasing) 'photos can be boring if taken of everyday things, but if you take them from a different angle, people will reconsider them'.
Now my wife's car has a very large glass sunroof, so I was able to take several shots for below the birds as they walked over the top.
As we finished, I was volunteered to take out the rubbish and put it in a nearby bin!
By this time the birds were becoming more and more confident.
I managed to get to the bins and back, using only my wits!
But when I got back to the car, they returned to gloat!
