When you do a road trip, (this one was a 300mile round trip) To have a look at a list of DERPs, not everyone will be a winner, one has to expect the odd fail.
I was to be honest expecting more from this old behemoth, especially after hiking up a dirt track half a mile, after driving down a single track road for 5 or so miles, preying you don’t encounter a tractor, then having to park the car uncomfortably on a grass verge continuing to prey that said tractor doesn’t appear and tear a track down the passenger side whilst out and about mooching.

So that was it, and after a stroll back the car was undamaged!
