I think that we can all agree, that even gaming has its own trends too, like fashion has. We had World of Warcrafts everywhere, every studio has its own MOBA game, card games, team-based shooters etc etc..Now we have Battle Royal mode.
Almost everyone knows PUBG. It was not the first game of this concept, but it is the most famous one. When Fortnight has been released, many people called it a clone of PUBG, but in my opinion it is rude to call it like that, because like I said at the beggining, gaming has its own trends too. However today, when I checked youtube, Hi-Rez Studios uploaded new video of „Paladins: Battlegrounds“. Yea that game that many people on 2016-2017 called an „Overwatch clone“.
To be honest, it is pretty much free to play Overwatch, but it is a good and especially fun game. However this trailer is even for me over the line. Because this game was made as a hero shooter and it is not fully released yet and has many flaws. What is next? „Paladins: Fifa 2019“ or other totally different genre. They should just focus on their first goal and don't do nonsence. So I am expecting that many studios will release their Battle Royale mode in their games too, just to be "the cool guy".. So I predicted Battlefield: Battle Royale and Call of Royale! Remember me!
