Greetings brothers.
May this new time be propitious for us to rest confidently in the Lord. In other words, let's throw our burdens and anxieties on the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord commands us in His Word not to be anxious for anything, to give him all his anxieties. Sometimes we are so heavy and loaded with problems in life that we miss the great opportunity that Jesus gives us. We always forget the powerful work he did for us on the cross. If he bore all our sins, diseases and ailments, did he not also bear all our burdens of trouble? So why do we strive in life?
The Word of the Lord says:
Throwing all your anxiety on Him, because He takes care of you (1 Peter 5: 7).
Have you been anxious for something in the last few days?
Anxiety torments us and is absolutely useless. In the natural world, there are more than enough causes for concern, but the good news is that, as believers, we don't have to live in the natural world. We have the privilege of depositing our anxieties in the Lord.
Throwing them means throwing them away and getting rid of them. We can throw our worries on God, because He takes care of us. The seed we sow is the care of ourselves, and the fruit we reap is the care of God for us.
Refusing to be anxious shows that we are trusting in the Lord. We can say that we trust in the Lord, but actions speak in many cases, more than words. Our heavenly Father has promised to take care of us.
God is for us, with us, below us, hugging, surrounding and watching over us. In other words, God has us covered! It is our shield, our refuge, our high tower, our fortress, our refuge and our firm base. You are not anxious for anything, you are too intelligent to spend your life anxious!
Do this:
Decide, put all your anxieties in the Lord and begin to observe how he takes care of you.
