Egypt have played 2 games already and lost them both. A late-minute strike from Giménez ensured they got nothing out of the opener against Uruguay and a poor opening of the second half robbed them off the game with the hosts, Russia. They (like their Arabian group mates) are out of the competition.
Morocco: An injury-time own goal by Bouhaddouz left the North Africans with no points from the game against Iran. A 4th minute goal from the Portuguese maestro, Christiano Ronaldo, was enough to seal their fate for the tournament. They will (like any other early exiting team) have a right to the last group game but, will be home immediately after.
Tunisia: A 5-2 loss to Belgium ended the North Africans' hopes of qualification from the group stages of the competition. They had earlier lost a hard-fought game against England and would rue their missed chances as they line up for a formality last fixture of their group games.
Nigeria came back from a 2-0 loss to Croatia and sent the same message to Iceland. 2 goals from Ahmed Musa remedied the loss to Croatia, bringing them to 3 points and a goal difference of zero (0). A win from their last group game against Argentina may be more than enough to qualify them for the knockout stages. A win against the Africans, though, will be Argentina's only chance of qualification now, after the 3-0 loss to Croatia.
Nigeria's chances of qualifying for the round of 16 is high.
Should Colmubia win ther last game against group leaders, Japan, then only a win against Poland would secure Senegal a ticket into the second round of the tournament in their own final game. Else, a draw will be enough to progress the West Africans. They secured maximum points from their first game against Columbia and managed a draw with group leaders, Japan, to hold on to a 2nd place spot with 4 points from 2 games.
